Priyanka is a Strategy and Finance graduate from the world’s best business school The University of Pennsylvania,The Wharton School.
She previously worked with IBM as an Advising Senior Executive and later was the COO, CTO and CFO at Sarvajal, an innovative social impact startup, seeking to provide access to clean, drinking water to India’s underserved using technology and community engagement. Under her leadership at IIMA Ventures (formerly IIMA-CIIE), she has been supporting women entrepreneurs with various accelerator and incubation programs and insight reports.
Under Priyanka’s leadership, IIMA Ventures has accelerated nearly 1200 startups, funded 300+, and mentored and coached over 5000+ startups across its various programs such as iAccelerator, Power of Ideas, Powerstart, India Innovation Growth Program, Start-up Oasis, Bharat Inclusion Initiative.Notable startups under her guidance include Razorpay, which turned into a unicorn in 2020. IIMA Ventures provides funding in the form of government grants, pre-seed, seed, and seriesinvestments, starting from around ₹10 lakh to ₹15 lakh of grant capital up to US$5 million. It has similar incubation centers in Jaipur.
