Rohan Nayak

Rohan Nayak is the CEO and Cofounder of Pocket FM. Inspired by his entrepreneurial instinct, Rohan along with his friends, Nishanth KS and Prateek Dixit, co-founded Pocket FM in 2018. Rohan is the guiding force behind shaping the business aesthetics, strategies, growth, and expansion. Under his leadership, Pocket FM has witnessed phenomenal growth and emerged as a strong force in the audio OTT landscape. He has rich experience in product development and scaling content platforms for about 5 years. Acknowledging the gap in the audio content consumption ecosystem, he recognized the need for an independent audio OTT platform. He successfully fulfilled his aim to establish the platform as beneficial to both creators and consumers. Today, the platform is disrupting the entertainment industry whilst bringing audio storytelling to the mainstream. Rohan graduated in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He kickstarted his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse. Once he realized his passion for product building, he moved to product management in the start-up ecosystem including Paytm. His entrepreneurial spirit has been recognized with achievements like Forbes Asia 30U30, BW Disrupt 30U30. Rohan is a hodophile at heart and loves to play chess and poker in his leisure.
