Saurav, the Cofounder and CTO at Velocity, India’s leading revenue-based financing firm supported by Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures. At Velocity, he leads a talented team of more than 50 individuals, driving innovation and technical excellence in our products and technology department.
Before Velocity, he honed his skills as a lead engineer at Hackerrank and as the founding engineer and CTO at Taskbob. Taskbob, a series A-funded home services company, was a significant chapter in his journey despite its eventual closure in 2017. These experiences equipped Saurav with invaluable insights into building products from scratch, emphasizing the importance of rapid iteration and innovative solutions.
Sauravs passion lies in the 0-1 phase of product development, where he thrives on the challenges of turning ideas into reality. With a keen eye for product design and solution architecture, Saurav ensures that Velocity’s offerings are not just functional but also user-centric and efficient. Beyond engineering, he brings a sharp business acumen to the table, always eager to collaborate and brainstorm on matters of startup strategy and leadership.
