Tathagato Rai Dastidar, a tech veteran with 25+ years, B.Tech & Ph.D. in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur. Began at National Semiconductor (2000) in semiconductor design automation; brief entrepreneurial stint (2007-08); led tech at Yahoo!, American Express, and Gracenote.
In 2015, co-founded SigTuple to apply AI and computer vision in healthcare, assisting pathologists, easing microscopy, and improving patient outcomes. Today, it’s positioning India as a deep tech leader.
Research: AI, computer vision, image processing. Holds 11 US patents (6 as primary author).
